Workplace Wellness

Want a corporate health initiative that runs itself while providing employees with mighty benefits like healthier kids, longer lives, and more productive minds and bodies? Want to get employees excited about sharing healthy recipe ideas while giving back to your local community?

Our workplace wellness program does all of these and more. Each week, your employees can visit Freshfully to order boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers. We'll deliver them to your worksite. Your employees will eat more fruits and vegetables, while local farmers benefit, and your health initiative thrives. As Michael Scott would say, "win-win-win."

Employee Cost: $25 per box. (You can also subsidize their purchases for any or all weeks of the program.)

Business Cost: $50 per week of delivery. Waived for purchases of 10 or more boxes.

Supporting Materials:

· We'll provide a sign for your pick-up area with more info about the boxes.

· We'll send you a flyer you can distribute via email or as a handout.

· We'll schedule a date for your farmers to visit your site and meet employees face-to-face.

Memo Text:

I wanted to suggest a program as part of our Workplace Wellness initiative. Freshfully.com is a business that sells seasonal fruits and vegetables from local farmers. They will deliver fruit and veggie boxes to our employees each week. The benefits of cooking and eating more fruits and vegetables are varied and plentiful, including:

· Improving mental and physical energy and productivity

· Increasing longevity

· Reducing risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes

· Creating healthier kids and families

By sourcing this healthy food from local farmers, our company will also be supporting the local community and giving back.

Freshfully compiles recipes for using the contents of each week's box, which we can add to our company newsletter. They'll also provide signage for the program and other marketing materials. Local farmers are available to meet our employees and talk about their farms and growing practices.

The cost to employees is $25 per box (which contains about 20-25 servings of produce). Our cost is a $50 delivery fee only if they deliver fewer than ten boxes. We also have the opportunity to subsidize any week for employees to encourage adoption.
